November Newsletter – 2011

WE ARE PROUD TO ANNOUNCE THAT JUST 4 KICKS WILL BE MOVING THE STUDIO IN 2012 – FULL DETAILS TO FOLLOW IN THE DECEMBER NEWSLETTER !!!!!!!

Another year that is flying by!  We are fast approaching the Holiday Season and there are lots of things happening that we would like you to be aware of:

1. COSTUME DEPOSITS of $75 per class are due by the end of November.  If your deposits are not made by the end of November, a late fee of $10.00 will be applied to your account.  Costumes will not be ordered without your deposit. Cheques are to be made payable to “Wendy Laidlaw”.
2. CHRISTMAS HOLIDAY SHUTDOWN will be December 26th – through January 6th.
3. 2nd ANNUAL SHOWCASE  will be held Saturday March 24th and Sunday March 25th
4. RECITAL will be held Thursday, June 7th, Friday, June 8th, and Saturday, June 9th, 2012.  Your child will be dancing on all three dates and their attendance is vital to ensure a fantastic show.  Should you have any issues with these dates, please let the office know, and we can review the options.
5. BEING PREPARED
Appropriate dance wear for each genre has been posted.  Should you have any questions about what you are to wear, please ask your dance instructor.
Your hair should be up and off of your face during your classes.  Please ensure that you have brought the hair accessories that you will require to have, whether it be clips, elastics or bobby pins.  (Bun for ballet, ponytail for everything else.)  Your hair should be done prior to the start of your class.
6. REGAL  If you wish to have a catalog, please sign your name on the regal sheet in the dancer's waiting room.  We will be ordering our catalogs shortly
7. SANTA CLAUS PARADE  A separate newsletter is being distributed for those that would like to participate in this year's Santa Claus Parade.  
8. BAKE SALE  A great way to get your holiday snacks without slaving over a hot oven!
We will be holding a huge bake sale at the studio on Sunday December 18th, 2011 that will continue throughout the week of December 19th-23rd .  
We appreciate all of your baking efforts, and appreciate any donations that you are able to make.  If you know in advance that you are able to donate something, please see the office.
9. SATURDAY DANCE CAMP – PRINCESS FOR A DAY  December 3rd we will be open from 9 am to 6 pm to drop your children off so you can shop till you drop!  We know what it is like to have little people in the holiday madness of shopping, so we are offering to entertain your children.  There will be two age groups – 5-8 and 9-12.  Snacks are provided but please pack a peanut free lunch.  The cost is $40 for the full day or $25 for a half day, HST included.
